Gilmore wins Senate nomination
Former Gov. Jim Gilmore won the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate at the GOP State Convention in Richmond on May 31. He will face Democrat former Gov. Mark Warner in November.
Johnson elected County Chairman
Fluvanna Republicans elected Doug Johnson as the County GOP Chairman on April 2. 70 voters cast ballots in a mass meeting at the old Fluvanna County Court House.
McCain set for GOP nomination
Sen. John McCain won the Virginia GOP primary in February and clinched the Presidential nomination in early March. Thanks to the 1652 Fluvanna Republicans who voted in the primary!
